Search engine optimization can be a great way to increase traffic to your website, but it’s important not to overlook the basics:

The first step is to ensure that your site is built on a platform which allows for SEO best practices – WordPress and Drupal are two popular choices.  I have used WordPress since 2012 and my clients can easily update their website through it.  Of course, if you want me to handle all the updates for you, I can certainly do that for you!  A website’s success often comes down the types of content it contains. For example, if you have an e-commerce store with lots of photos then making use their high resolution imagery might be important because customers will want see them in order find what they’re looking for easily when browsing through items online rather than scrolling past one after another.. The same goes with other sites who need more compelling visuals like photography blogs or interior design journals; these are perfect candidates to leverage large datasets from stock photo agencies because no matter how pretty something looks inside its pages nobody wants wasted time clicking around.

Next, you’ll want to make sure that your content is keyword-rich in order for the search engines can understand what each page of information on it has relevant. You should use keywords throughout all pages and even include them at the beginning or end if they apply which will help people who are looking up specific terms find your site more easily!  Don’t forget to include links within your content so readers can easily find related articles or other pages of interest.

Social media sites like Facebook and Twitter are another form of advertising by posting links back to your site from these outlets.  For example, you can use socialbookmarks on delicious so that people will see when they visit other pages in the network with interesting content!

  • Creating an account at least temporarily increases traffic because all posts show up there automatically even if not commented upon
